BCC Youth Ministry

The BCC Children’s Ministry is located behind the main sanctuary and is a fun place of worship for children and youth from ages 7 to 17. Our goal is to Train up a child in the way that he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it as written in Proverbs 22:6. Children learn important biblical topics and scriptures such as Salvation, The Ways of God, The Holy Spirit, the Ten Commandments, 23rd psalms, 12 disciples, books of the bible, The Lord’s prayer as well as many other topics that will help them learn more about Christ. In addition, the Children’s Ministry has enrichment on the 3rd Sunday’s which includes movies, speakers, outreach and arts and crafts. The Pastor over this ministry is Minister Regina Jones and the Assistant Pastor is Min. Antiquenette Caldwell. Currently the ministry has around 60 active members and is steadily growing.

Supporting Our Students – an annual event designed to demonstrate God’s love for humanity and provide a witness for Jesus Christ. This festival gives us an opportunity to educate the members of the Fort Deposit community about resources that are available to them. In addition, book bags are given to school age children to offset the cost of back to school supplies.

Hallelujah Party - an annual event that provides a safe alternative to trick or treating. The event has a carnival atmosphere with games, music, food, tons of kids, and fun.

Edgewood Tutorial Plus Center is a program providing academic assistance to students (grades K-12) in and around the Fort Deposit community during the school year and summer.

(Bethlehem Warriors) A.A.C. (Academics, Athletics, Character) is an initiative established by the Temple Gate Church, Inc. to provide youth in Lowndes County and Surrounding area’s with a positive outlet to enhance and develop their social being by means of access to the necessary resources to flourish in today’s society. The A.A.C. is designed to reengage, and reinvent activities that will encourage youth to explore, learn, and develop career interest, while instilling core Christian values.
